This invention is based on two systems: - A mechanical system that is capable of retaining the vehicle in the proper direction of travel. - A sensor and control system that detects the state of the vehicle, and governs the mechanical retention system. All this in order to avoid the displacement of the vehicle in the opposite direction to the one of the march, that happens when the driver of the vehicle is arranged to initiate the march and is located in slope.
