The salt water is passed through vertical evaporators in series. In each evaporator a flow of water vapor is obtained which is taken to the next as a hot source. When yielding its heat it condenses and turns into distilled water. The hot source of the first evaporator consists of steam at a pressure of 4 bar produced in a conventional boiler. When the salt concentration in the last evaporator reaches a pre-established maximum point, the brine is extracted from the recirculation circuit and taken to a system of 3 crystallizers where 3 groups of crystallized salts are obtained: - MAGNESIC CHLORIDE and RELATED SALTS . - SODIUM CHLORIDE and RELATED SALTS. - SULFATES and RELATED SALTS.
