The invention relates to a highly-sensitive all-sky night-time digital camera with a range of between 4,000 and 9,500 angstroms.The inventive camera can be used to detect night-time images of the sky such as celestial bodies and transient astrophysical phenomena in the firmament, shooting stars and bolides, night clouds, aircraft and artificial satellites.
