The regulator includes a control module for regulating the supply of power from a power source to the network through commutators. A selector is provided to control supply of power from a battery to the network, such that power is supplied to the electrical equipment included in the network from the battery in case of an emergency. Power is provided from the battery to the network when there is an excess of power in the battery.
