A polynucleotide selected from the group consisting of: i) polynucleotides encoding a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence shown in SEQ ID No. 8 that lacks amino acid residues 283 to 367 relative to the full length NIP45 protein, which are capable of interacting with NFATp to enhance the transcription of the IL-4 gene; ii) polynucleotides comprising the sequence of SEQ ID No. 2 that lacks the part of the sequence encoding amino acid residues 283 to 367 with respect to the full-length NIP45 protein, in which the encoded proteins are capable of interacting with NFATp to enhance the transcription of the IL-4 gene.
