Spinning machine drawing equipment for staple fibre band (9), with a load carrier holding a delivery roller, a guide roll for feeding core thread to the band and an anti-twist roller, in which the load carrier (which can be swivelled away from the band) has a guiding device which aligns the guide roll with a suction channel when the carrier is swung back to the band. Spinning machine drawing equipment for drawing a staple fibre band (e.g. roving) (9), with a pair of delivery rollers (3, 7) defining the drawing zone and containing a pressure roller (7), an adjacent compression zone (18) defined by a nip (19) containing an anti-twisting roller (23), an air-permeable feeder element (22) transporting the band (9) through zone (18) and covering a suction channel (21), a guide roll (14) with grooves (15) for feeding core thread (16) to the band (9) and a load carrier (4) holding components (7, 23 and 14) which can be swivelled round an axle (12) away from the band (9). In this system, the load carrier (4) is fitted with a guiding device (26 30) at a distance from the axle (12), which takes effect when the load carrier is swung back to the band (9) so as to align the guide roll (14) with the suction channel (21).
