The invention relates to a method for conditioning samples with a high solid content for the quantification thereof. The method comprises a pre-treatment step and a statistical analysis of the results, which can be used to select the optimal conditions for conditioning samples wtih a high solid content and to optimise the epifluorescence microscopy visualisation and counting step. The method removes interferences that impede microscopy visualisation and, consequently, prevent quantification of the microorganisms.
