A protective device against electrical discharge in airships is applicable to a structural component totally or partially comprised of a coating and including a fixing component with a countersink. A fine metallic mesh serves as the outer protection of the coating. A heavy mesh is provided in a region of the fixing component. A metallic piece is fixed to the inner face of the coating with the fixing component. A metallic washer surrounds the countersink area of the fixing component which contacts the meshes.
