Electromagnetic wave source detecting analyzingapparatus and method that can detect and/or analyze asource of (electromagnetic disturbing wave) representing amain factor in generating an electromagnetic fieldremotely of the apparatus in order to suppress theelectromagnetic field intensity at the remote distancefrom the apparatus to below a regulated value. A magneticfield near an object is measured by a set of probes. Aposition of an electromagnetic wave source is detectedusing a phase difference between the two probes. Acurrent distribution on the measured object is determinedby solving simultaneous equations containing the positioninformation and magnitudes of measured magnetic fields.An electromagnetic field at a remote distance from theapparatus is determined from the current distribution toidentify the source of the electromagnetic field.
