A worksheet overview system comprises an item information handler, an overviewelement handler, an overview area handler, and an overview synchronizer. Theitem information handler obtains item information relating to items of aworksheet.The overview element handler manages overview elements based on the iteminformation. Each overview element represents item information of acorresponding item of the worksheet. The overview area handler provides anoverview area for containing the overview elements to make the overviewelements contained in the overview area accessible by a user. The overviewsynchronizer synchronizes between each overview element in the overview areaand its corresponding item of the worksheet.
