The present invention relates to polymer blends of low Mooney hydrogenatednitrite butadiene rubber and a hydrogenated nitrite butadiene copolymermasterbatchwith a heat resistant additive, wherein the heat resistance additive isselected from thegroup of a strong base, a salt of strong base and a weak acid, a salt of aweak acid, apolycarbodiimide, a carbodiimide and mixtures thereof. The present inventionalsorelates to a process to prepare blends of low Mooney hydrogenated nitritebutadienerubber and hydrogenated nitrite butadiene copolymer masterbatch with a heatresistantadditive, wherein the heat resistance additive is selected from the group of astrongbase, a salt of strong base and a weak acid, a salt of a weak acid, apolycarbodiimide, acarbodiimide and mixtures thereof.
