PURPOSE: A connectionless communication tag for confirming whether a product is a genuine article and a portable tag reader are provided to store the frequency of reading product information in a nonvolatile memory, and to cut off an additional reading of the product information if the read frequency is more than a reference value. CONSTITUTION: A connectionless tag comprises as follows. A connectionless communication unit(100) exchanges data with a portable tag reader through radio communication, extracts power components from received signals, and supplies the power to entire systems. A storage(300) stores product information and encipher key information. A controller(200) enciphers the stored product information with an encipher key, and outputs the enciphered product information through the connectionless communication unit(100).
