The invention concerns a novel method for improving corneal laser surgery, in particular in accordance with the method called LASEK. Said method consists in using a composition for treating the cornea comprising a compound selected among glyceroformal, isopropanol and palmitoleic acid or a mixture thereof, at a concentration ranging between 25 wt. % and 50 wt. %.
