The elution of a component to be eluted from a three-dimensional culture into a washing liquor is promoted by dipping the three-dimensional culture, which has been prepared by culturing cells to be cultured with the use of a medium containing the component to be eluted, in the washing liquor free from the component to be eluted, and subsequently or simultaneously exposing a part of the three-dimensional culture, excluding the part forming the boundary with the medium, to the washing liquor. Thus, the component to be eluted contained in the three-dimensional culture can be easily eluted into the washing liquor so that the component to be eluted, which originates in the medium, can be efficiently removed from the three-dimensional culture.
