Acrylic-modified alkyd hybrid latexes and their use as viscosity modifiers

Novel alkyd / acrylic hybrid latexes are disclosed which provide the capability for adjusting the viscosity of the final latex system through standard neutralization techniques. The Examples demonstrate the in-situ viscosity modification capability of these unique hybrid systems.
