In order to ensure a safe and reliable supply of coolant, in particular if there is minimal lubrication, in a rotating tool, in particular a drill, an adjusting element (12) is provided which, on the end side of a shank (10) of the drill, has a frustoconical receptacle (16) in which a separate distributor element (18) is arranged. At the same time, an end partial region of the receptacle (16) forms a sealing surface (30) against which a bevel (32) of the shank (10) is pressed in the fitted state. This configuration ensures, with structurally simple means, both secure sealing and reliable distribution of coolant via the distributor element (18) to eccentrically arranged coolant lubricating channels (26) in the shank (10).
