INSTRUMENT FOR DILATING BLOOD CHANNEL AND INSTRUMENT FOR TREATING AORTIC DISSECTION

An instrument (1) for dilating a blood channel which is made of an elastic member (2) extended in the blood flow direction in the true lumen (115). By pressing outward the inner wall of the true lumen (115) by the elastic member (2), the blood channel is dilated. An instrument for treating aortic dissection which comprises a blocking member and a fixing member whereby the blocking member is fixed to the inner membrane tissue of the aorta. The blocking member is inserted to the position where it covers the entry of the aorta. Then the blocking member is deformed due to blood pressure so that it follows the periphery of the entry of the inner membrane tissue, thereby blocking the entry.
