摘要

The invention relates to a device for detecting objects in the vicinity of a motor vehicle. Said device comprises a GPS sensor, short-range sensors mounted on the motor vehicle and a control device emitting measurement signals obtained via the short-range sensors and detecting reflection of the measurement signals. The invention is characterized in that the control device is supplied by the GPS sensor with information on the actual global position of the motor vehicle. Global position ranges are stored in the control device in the form of deactivation ranges in which the measurement signals are not emitted.
