The vehicle has a set of consumer switching devices (S1-S3), which are assigned to a set of consumers (V1-V3) for producing and/or breaking a connection between a power supply device (SV) and the consumers. A detection device (MP) detects a critical vehicle condition and cooperates with the consumer switching devices. One of the consumer switching devices is opened during detection of a critical vehicle condition and remains opened after completion of the critical vehicle condition.
