In order to achieve cost-effective production and simple construction of a clamping block (10a, 10b) in railroad car junction systems for routing supply cables (2) between two railroad cars which are coupled to one another, provision is made for the clamping block (10a, 10b), through which the individual supply cables (2) are routed individually in each case, to have clamping block layers (14), which are each formed from two half-shells (18a, 18b), wherein said half-shells are in the form of plastic injection-molded parts, in particular formed from a non-combustible, antiflammable plastic.
