The device has rear and front clamping blocks (10a, 10b), and supply cables (2) individually routed through cable bushings (16) in the clamping blocks. The clamping blocks are designed as plastic injection-molded parts, where a non-combustible, anti-flammable polyamide is utilized as plastic. The clamping blocks have two half-shells (18a, 18b) with respective multiple half receivers for respective supply cable, where the half-shells have a piercing bearing surface at their side that faces the receivers. An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing a clamping block.
