Heat-stabilised Poly(Ethylene Naphthalate) film for flexible electronic and opt-electronic devices

A process for the manufacture of a composite film comprising a heat-stabilised, heat-set oriented poly(ethylene naphthalate) substrate and on a surface thereof a barrier layer wherein said film has a shrinkage at 30 mins at 230°C of less than 1%; and use thereof in an electronic or opto-electronic device containing a conjugated conductive polymer.
