A novel method of preparing 'metal-organic framework' (abbreviated to MOF), a zinc-based carboxylate coordination polymer compound, having very large surface area and large pore volume is provided. The MOF prepared by the method has very high ability of adsorbing gases over the MOF obtained by the conventional electrical heating.
