The invention relates to a sample rate converter for transforming a single input signal into two output signals, and whereby the output signals have different sampling rates, namely for sigma delta DAC and AES/EBU.;According to the invention, the sample rate converter includes:- a first sample rate converter (1) having an output port (5),- a digital-to-analog converter (6) connected to said output port (5) for outputting a first output signal,- decimation unit (9) connected to said output port (5), and- a formatter (11), to which an output port (10) of the decimation unit (9) is connected, for outputting a second output signal.
