BIOLOGICAL MARKER FOR PREDICTING POSTOPERATIVE PROGNOSIS OF LUNG CANCER PATIENT AND METHOD THEREFOR

It is intended to provide a method of predicting the postoperative prognosis or metastatic risk of a human lung cancer patient which comprises: acquiring comprehensive protein expression profiles from lung cancer tissues of a first patient groups showing a favorable postoperative prognosis or a lower metastatic risk and lung cancer tissues of a second patient groups showing an unfavorable postoperative prognosis or a higher metastatic risk; extracting a protein expression profile, based on which the lung cancer tissues of the first patient groups and the lung cancer tissues of the second patient groups can be distinguished from each other, from the comprehensive protein expression profiles; and evaluating the postoperative prognosis and/or metastatic risk of a tissue specimen of a human lung cancer patient with the use of the difference between the first patient group and the second patient group in relative expression level of a protein constituting the expression profile thus extracted; and a composition therefor.
