According to the present invention, there is provided a method of producing a banaba extract having a high corosolic acid content and a whitish appearance. In addition, using the method, there can be provided a whitish banaba extract having a high corosolic acid content and a whitish appearance. Moreover, using the whitish banaba extract, there can be provided a food or drink product having a high corosolic acid content and a whitish appearance.
