ABSORBENT ARTICLE INCLUDING MACRO-EMBOSSINGS COMPRISING A PLURALITY OF MICRO-EMBOSSINGS AND HAVING ENHANCED BUNCHING AND LEAKING PREVENTING EFFICIENCY AND AESTHETIC EFFECT

An absorbent article having macro-embossing formed of plural micro-embossings is provided to prevent bunching and leaking of body liquid and to show improved esthetic efficiency by adopting macro-embossing formed of a plurality of micro-embossings. The absorbent article comprises: a liquid permeable top sheet; a liquid impermeable bottom sheet; absorption area between the top and bottom sheets; and at least one macro-embossing which is extended by compressing the top sheet and the absorption area to extend the macro-embossing. At least one of the macro-embossing includes a plurality of micro-embossings and a plurality of intermediate compressions around the micro-embossings, each of which has compression thickness different from the embossing around the micro-embossing. The macro-embossing comprises first macro-embossing(12) in which the top sheet(10) and the absorption area(20) are formed, and second macro-embossing(14) which is adjacent to the first macro-embossing in a longitudinal direction and which is provided with the top sheet and absorption area compressed together.
