METHOD FOR NOTIFYING ESTIMATE ARRIVAL TIME OF MOBILE PHONE USING NAVIGATION SYSTEM

A method for notifying of an estimated arrival time by using a navigation system in a mobile communication terminal is provided to enable a navigation user to notify the other party whom the user wants to meet, of an exact arrival time, so that benefits of the navigation system can be serviced to both user and the other party. If a user conducts a destination appointing process, a process of inputting the telephone number of other party's terminal, a notification condition inputting process, and a notification method selecting process, a navigation-embedded terminal actuates a navigation system to operate a distance between the current location and the destination and an estimated arrival time in real time(S1). The terminal compares the current time with notification conditions inputted by the user, and decides whether the current time is identical with the notification conditions(S2). If so, the terminal notifies the other party's terminal of the estimated arrival time and distance information through a mobile communication network(S3).
