MANUFACTURING METHOD OF CLAY FOR INDUSTRIAL ART OBJECTS MATERIAL

Provided is a method for preparing a clay for industrial art material which does not harm human beings by using no harmful material such as acetic acid ethenyl ester, by a simple process. The method comprises the steps of dipping solid poly(vinyl alcohol) in water and leaving it for a day to obtain a gelled poly(vinyl alcohol); adding 0.1-10 parts by weight of a saturated boric acid aqueous solution to 90-99.9 parts by weight of the gelled poly(vinyl alcohol), and stirring it at a room temperature for 5-20 min to obtain a gummed intermediate product; injecting 30-70 parts by weight of polyacrylonitrile to 30-70 parts by weight of the obtained gummed intermediate product; and adding 0.1-1 parts by weight of a thickener based on the total mixture.
