BRANCHED STYRENIC THERMOPLASTIC POLYMERS HAVING A EXCELLENT PRODUCTIVITY

Provided is a branched styrene-based thermoplastic resin, which is excellent in melt index and impact strength, and improved release property and processability, and is useful for various industrial fields. The branched styrene-based thermoplastic resin is obtained by polymerizing a mixture comprising: (A) 100 parts by weight of an aromatic vinyl compound or a blend of the aromatic vinyl compound with a vinyl cyanide compound; and (B) 0.001- 5 wt% of a silane compound or siloxane compound having a viscosity of 20-30,000 cps and containing at least two polymerizable hydrocarbons. The aromatic vinyl compound or the blend of the aromatic vinyl compound with the vinyl cyanide compound comprise 60-100 parts by weight of the aromatic vinyl compound and 40-0 parts by weight of the vinyl cyanide compound.
