A flash butt welding method of high strength steel sheet for automobile, which prevents cracks or fractures from being generated on the welding joint when welding a welding joint between coils to perform continuous operation of a hot rolled coil in a manufacturing process of a high strength steel sheet for automobile, and a flash butt welding joint of high strength steel sheet for automobile are provided. A flash butt welding method of high strength steel sheet for automobile comprises the steps of: putting ends of high strength steel sheets into contact with each other, wherein the high strength steel sheets contain, by weight percent, 0.14% of C, 0.15% of Si, 1.0% of Mn and traces of other added elements and have a TS of 590 MPa; coating grease containing 30% or less of carbon powder having a particle size of 1 mum or less on the periphery of a butt joint in which the ends of the steel sheets face each other; and subjecting the butt joint to flash butt welding.
