APPARATUS AND METHOD OF AVOIDING MUTUAL INTERACTION BETWEEN WIRELESS LAN AND ZIGBEE

A method for avoiding mutual interference between a wireless LAN(Local Area Network) and ZigBee and a device therefor are provided to minimize the mutual interference by exchanging use channel information between a wireless LAN AP(Access Point) and a ZigBee coordinator, therefore communication can be smoothly performed. A wireless LAN AP(10) confirms a use channel, and delivers use channel information to a ZigBee coordinator(20)(S1,S2). The coordinator(20) decides on an area overlapped with a ZigBee channel according to the use channel information, and confirms a ZigBee use channel in order to prevent the overlapping(S3,S4). The coordinator(20) delivers the ZigBee use channel information to the AP(10)(S5).
