WATERPROOF STRUCTURE FOR AFFORESTATION LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE IN THE ROOF OF A BUILDING BY USING EPDM SHEET AND WATERPROOF METHOD USING THE SAME

A gardening and waterproofing structure for the rooftop of a building is provided to improve waterproof and adiabatic effects by placing thermal insulation materials between primary waterproof materials and secondary waterproof materials and to garden the rooftop of a building stably and effectively by using EPDM(Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber waterproof sheet as primary and secondary waterproof materials. A gardening and waterproofing structure for the rooftop of a building contains primary waterproof materials(30) made with EPDM(Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber waterproof sheet and abutted on the surface of a structure, thermal insulation materials(32) placed between primary waterproof materials and secondary waterproof materials to prevent the transfer of external impact and to keep adiabatic effect, secondary waterproof materials(34) made with EPDM(Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber waterproof sheet and formed on the upper part of the thermal insulation materials, filth cloth(36) formed on the upper part of the secondary waterproof materials, a waterproof protective layer(40) formed on the filter cloth to protect the waterproof materials and the thermal insulation materials, and an air vent contacted with the surface of a structure and the outside through the primary waterproof materials, the thermal insulation material and the secondary waterproof materials to discharge moisture or air to the outside. Hereon the EPDM rubber waterproof sheet enables to correspond the behavior of a concrete slab by vibration and temperature variation elastically and to use as moisture retardant for cutting off the movement of moisture to the outside of the structure.
