A function control method for a steam sterilizer or a bottle warmer is provided to have a keeping function for preventing pollution of baby goods in the steam sterilizer and a thermal function and a reheating function for maintaining a heated temperature in the bottle warmer. The function control method for a steam sterilizer including an evaporation heater for a steam disinfection, a first temperature sensor for measuring an inside temperature, a blowing fan for a dry, a timer for counting an operation time of the respective functions, a control part for controlling the operation, and an operation part for setting the respective functions, comprising a keeping function automatically converted after a sterilization and dry are finished and controlled so that dry is repeatedly performed for a few hours at an interval.
