A personal portable device and a hands-free kit controlling method of the personal portable device are provided to allow a hands-free kit to be attachable to or detachable from a terminal body, and to be integratedly formed between the terminal body and the hands-free kit, thus the portability of the portable device and the hands-free kit is increased. A terminal body(110) includes the first Bluetooth unit mounted thereon. A hands-free kit(140) comprises as follows. The second Bluetooth unit exchanges a transceiving signal with the first Bluetooth unit. A controller is electrically connected with the second Bluetooth unit. A receiver module converts a transmission signal into a voice signal to deliver the voice signal to a user. A microphone module converts the voice signal into a receiving signal. A hands-free body(150) is attachable to or detachable from the terminal body(110). A suspending unit(170) is formed in a section of the hands-free body(150), and is equipped with a hole suspended on a user's ear.
