摘要

The invention concerns the use of molecular clips as sensitive materials in chemical sensors for detecting or assaying organic compounds in vapour state, and in particular nitrated compounds. Said molecular clips are of general formula (I), wherein: MC1 and MC2 represent macrocycles; p and q represent 0 or 1; X and Y are optionally substituted C1-C10 alkylene groups; while E represents an optionally substituted cyclic or heterocyclic spacer group; and wherein MC1 and MC2 are arranged opposite each other. The invention is applicable to the detection of explosives, controlling and monitoring atmospheric pollution and the quality of more or less confined environments, monitoring of industrial sites.
