VOLUMETRIC 3D DISPLAY SYSTEM USING A PLURALITY OF TRANSPARENT FLEXIBLE DISPLAY PANELS

A volumetric 3D display system using plural transparent flexible display panels is provided to remarkably reduce the entire size of the system by using plural transparent 2D display panels which are self-illuminated to display images. A volumetric three-dimensional display panel includes plural transparent two-dimensional flexible display panels(30) which are stacked. The two-dimensional display panels are adapted to display two-dimensional images so that a single three-dimensional image is formed, and a display surface of the volumetric three-dimensional display panel is curved with a predetermined curvature or is flat. The volumetric three-dimensional display panel has a cylindrical shape by stacking and rolling plural flat two-dimensional flexible display panels in a circle.
