A connection-oriented message processing system based on a wireless communication network is provided to minimize the load, battery consumption, and memory use of a mobile terminal by shifting a computer module from a mobile terminal side to an electronic device side so that terminal-transmitted messages, transmitted from external communication terminals, can be sent directly to the electronic device without passing through a PPP(Point to Point Protocol) layer of the mobile terminal. A connection-oriented message processing system consists of an electronic device(200) and a mobile terminal(100). The electronic device(200) comprises a terminal-transmitted message classification module(204) receives terminal-transmitted messages from an external communication terminal and classifies them into device-dedicated messages or terminal-dedicated messages. The mobile terminal(100), forming a series of signal-connected relations with the electronic device(200), accesses a wireless communication network(500), assists the wireless communication connection between the electronic device(200) and an external communication terminal(400) or communicates with the external communication terminal(400) independently. The mobile terminal(100) comprises a terminal-dedicated message receiving module(108). The terminal-dedicated message receiving module(108) receives terminal-dedicated messages, classified by the terminal-transmitted message classification module(204), and makes them processed independently by the message processing module of the mobile terminal(100).
