Polymer powder with blockpolyetheramide, and the use in a process and moulding produced from this polymer powder

A method for the production of formed objects by a layer-wise process involving the selective melting of parts of powder layers by means of electromagnetic energy while achieving selectivity by the application of susceptors, inhibitors, absorbers or by masking, in which the material used comprises at least one block polyether-amide derived from an oligoamide-dicarboxylic acid and a polyether-amine. An independent claim is included for a similar method in which selectivity is obtained by focussing a laser beam.
