A device and a method for printing multiple pages to one page in PDF(Portable Document Format) direct printing are provided to print the pages to one page in the PDF direct printing by converting an inputted PDF document into postscript language according to a ratio corresponding to the input number of pages. An input part(100) receives the PDF document. A user interface(110) receives the number of pages to be printed to one page. A controller(120) converts the inputted PDF document into the printing data according to the inputted number of pages to be printed to one page. A printing part(130) prints the converted printing data according to control of the controller. A memory(140) stores the inputted PDF document or the converted printing data. The controller includes a parser(121) generating parse data by parsing the PDF document, a postscript converter(122) converting the parsed data into the postscript language, and an interpreter(123) generating postscript interpretation language by interpreting the postscript language.
