METHOD FOR AN AGGREGATE INFORMATION MANAGEMENT OF SPATIOTEMPORAL DATA IN SPATIAL DATA WAREHOUSE

A method for managing aggregate information of spatiotemporal data in a spatial data warehouse is provided to improve processing performance by keeping present aggregate information for objects present in a spatial dimension with an HSaR(Historically Summarized aggregate Relation)-tree, and offering a fast response for a past and present aggregate information query. The present aggregate information for present data of a corresponding area is managed by using the HSaR-tree(S120). The past aggregate information is managed by generating a time summary aggregate table for keeping the past aggregate information of each entry of all nodes in the HSaR-tree with a hierarchical structure(S140). Each node is linked with the corresponding time summary aggregate table(S150).
