PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fast retrieve spatiotemporal data.SOLUTION: A spatiotemporal data management system for managing time-series data associated with a spatiotemporal region comprises: a processor for executing a program; a memory for storing the program; and a storage unit for storing the time-series data. The processor generates multiple spatiotemporal division regions by dividing the spatiotemporal region temporally and spatially, assigns an identifier represented by a one-dimensional integer value, in consideration of temporal and spatial neighborhood property of the spatiotemporal division regions, in order to uniquely identify each of the spatiotemporal division regions, and determines an arrangement of the time-series data so that all pieces of data in the spatiotemporal division regions with the assigned identifiers closer to each other are arranged near the storage unit.
