AUDIO GUIDE SERVICE METHOD FOR TOURIST, AND SYSTEM THEREOF

A method and a system for an audio sightseeing guide service are provided to offer guidance for a sightseeing place to a user through the wireless Internet or DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting), and enable the user to promptly receive an audio guide service if the user receives an audio sightseeing guide message and inputs permission to a mobile terminal at the registered sightseeing place. A location tracking system(230) detects a location of the mobile terminal(200). An audio guide server receives information for the sightseeing place from the mobile terminal and registers the received information. In case that the mobile terminal is reached to the sightseeing place, the audio guide server receives arrival information of the mobile terminal from the location tracking system, requests an SMSC(Short Message Service Center)(240) to transmit an audio guide service notification message to the mobile terminal, and downloads an audio guide file of the sightseeing place to the mobile terminal when the mobile terminal is connected through the wireless Internet(210). The SMSC makes and transmits a URL(Uniform Resource Locator) message including a URL of the audio guide server to the mobile terminal.
