AN APPARATUS FOR ADJUSTING CASTER ANGLE FOR MCPHERSON STRUT TYPE SUSPENSION

A caster angle adjusting device of a Macpherson strut type suspension is provided to improve movement stability of a vehicle by moving a rod of a cylinder member back and forth according to speed of the vehicle and easily adjusting the caster angle. A caster angle adjusting device includes a hydraulic cylinder member(10) contacting a rod(12) to an upper part of a strut(11) of a Macpherson strut type suspension and adjusting the caster angle by adjusting the turning angle of the strut, a hydraulic pump(20) supplying hydraulic pressure to the hydraulic cylinder member, and a control unit(30) lowering hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic pump at high speed of a vehicle and applying hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic pump at low speed of the vehicle by receiving travel speed of the vehicle and regulating oil input and output of the hydraulic pump. A return spring is embedded in the rod of the hydraulic cylinder member to operate the rod of the hydraulic cylinder member with the elastic force.
