A system for automatically informing a user of fatal problem and recovering an OS/data of a computer is provided to suggest a technology/method for recovering the OS/data in real-time when the fatal problem is generated in the OS/data by using a real-time checkup process and enable the user to recover the data to an optimal state by selecting folders or entire data. A recovery state setting controller(110) memorizes a current setting state of the computer(10), and stores the current setting state to a space(100) of a hard disk or the Internet. A user informing process(120) stores a recovery state irrespective of the current setting state and displays an optimal recovery method in a time unit if the fatal problem is occurred in the computer. A computer state checkup process(40) checks up a state of the computer in real-time. An informing system(70) informs the user of the fatal problem by reading the fatal problem occurred in the computer and displays the optimal recovery method. A recovery process(30) recovers the computer to an optimal state through a recovery control process(90) by each file/folder and entire data through the optimal recovery method.
