Provided is a dietary supplement which prevents and treats cerebral infarction or cerebral apoplexy by containing at least one kind of anthocyanin compound. The dietary supplement comprises at least one kind of anthocyanin represented by the formula 1, wherein R1 to R7 are independently H, OH or OCH3, and R4 and R5 can comprise a sugar group such as glucose, galactose, mannose and xylose. Preferably the anthocyanin represented by the formula 1 is selected from the group consisting of cyanidin, delphinidin, malvidin, pelargonidin, peonidin and petunidin.
