CORBA-BASED ADAPTIVE BRIDGING POOL SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF

A system and a method for providing a context-oriented event service are provided to reduce overhead generated from a filtering function of a reflective context-oriented event service by using an adaptor, and support reflective and dynamic context-oriented channel management to uniformly distribute load. A communication platform layer provides a situation/context-based distributed service by using a lightweight device and a communication protocol in a wired/wireless environment. An agent platform layer comprises a component for maximizing service efficiency, autonomously adapted to the environment, and adapting merit of an agent system. An external layer comprises a self-growing engine and an ontology-based context awareness engine to provide an intelligent service. CALM(Component-based Automatic Layered Middleware) is equipped with a tool for forming an agent-based platform. The CALM support a context-oriented interface definition language for expressing context when an agent development tool kit and the component providing the context are developed.
