A plate-shaped body packaging case, a plate-shaped body transporting method, a plate-shaped body stacking method, a plate-shaped body discharging method, and a plate-shaped body packaging material are provided to protect products against vibration and impact generated in delivering the products by forming a press member on the upper side of a plate-shaped body, and to stably transport the large and thin plate-shaped bodies, especially plate glasses. The plate-shaped body packaging case(1) is composed of a support board(3); a space part(S) for horizontally loading a plate-shaped body(4) on the support board; a ceiling plate for covering the plate-shaped body attached to or detached from the support board; an upper cover(13) having four lateral sides; and a press member(7) for fixing the plate-shaped body from the upper side. The support board has a stacking member(5) and side plates disposed in an L-form.
