Provided is a biodegradable polyester film which screens UV rays or visible rays effectively, prevents the discoloration or deformation of contents, does not generate dioxin in case of incineration and is used as a packaging material or an agricultural material. The biodegradable polyester film comprises a polyester film prepared by polymerizing 70-90 wt% of a poly(lactic acid) and 10-30 wt% of an aromatic-aliphatic polyester resin; and an aluminum layer which has a thickness of 250-900 Angstrom and is deposited on at least one surface of the polyester film to screen UV rays or visible rays. Preferably, the poly(lactic acid) is at least one selected from the group consisting of L-lactic acid, D-lactic acid and L,D-lactic acid and has a molecular weight of 10,000 or more.
