A method for generating a CFI and an information providing method using the same are provided to reflect a corporate finance situation by using information for a corporate fund condition and the whole external fund supply state. More than one factor having influence on the fund condition and more than one factor having the influence on the fund supply are respectively determined(100). The determined factors are converted into numeric values(200). More than one lower index related to the CFI is generated based on the converted factors(300). The CFI is generated by using the lower indexes(400).
